Andrew has been in the fire and security industry since 2001 and
has held a senior management position within one of the Scotland's
leading independent fire and security companies.
Andrew originally joined the electrical industry in 1997 where
he began an apprenticeship as an electrician before becoming office
based where he trained as an electrical estimator. In 2001 he
joined Fife Alarms and progressed to the position of Contracts
Manager with overall responsibility for the design and estimating
of all their fire detection systems and project management.
He joined Apollo Fire Detectors in 2010, as a Regional Sales
Manager where he takes responsibility for Sales within the North
East and Scotland.

Andy has been in the fire industry since the early 90's and has
held various positions in some of the UK's leading companies.
In 1990 he joined a company where his work included testing and
repairing fire panels and fire products, carrying out site surveys
and visiting problem sites. After a promotion to Technical Sales
Engineer, Andy put the knowledge he gained from testing and
repairing systems to good use, by designing fire systems and
assisting customers to resolve problem sites.
Andy moved into sales to become a specification sales engineer
on emergency lighting and fire systems and held that position for
several years.
He joined Apollo Fire Detectors in 2004, as Regional UK Sales
Manager where he is responsible for the management of all accounts
in the Northern region.

Bruce has worked within the fire industry for over 16 years from
apprentice to commissioning engineer and finally to account manager
for both local and national fire alarm specialists.
During this time he has acquired design, maintenance and
installation experience as well as a strong understanding of the
industry and its standards.
Bruce joined Apollo Fire Detectors in 2011 as Regional UK Sales
Manager and is responsible for the South West of the UK.

After graduating with a degree in History, Dale has worked in a
range of roles in Marketing Services, Product Management and Sales.
Whilst working Dale continued to study and gained qualifications in
Marketing and an MBA. Dale was a Member of the Chartered Institute
of Marketing for 25 years.
The last twenty years Dale has spent working in export sales
management selling cash handling equipment for De La Rue Systems
through a distributor network in Europe, Africa and the Middle
East.
Dale joined Apollo Fire Detectors in June 2000, to work and
develop distributors in Eastern Europe. During this time Dale's
area of responsibility has grown and now covers Eastern Europe,
Nordic Region, Benelux, Greece, Italy and France.

Daniel Burton started at Apollo in 1998, as a Production
Operator. Daniel now has over 13 years experience and during his
time at Apollo he has worked in all aspects of the business.
In his Technical/Manufacturing role he was responsible for the
Service Department who manage all the service and warranty
returns.
From there, Daniel went on to a Sales Support Engineer role and
progressed to Regional Sales Manager for the UK.
He has since spent 10 years in the Sales department and is now
an Export Sales Manager and is responsible for Africa and the
Northern part of the Middle East as well as parts of Central and
Southern Europe.

Kim started his career with the UK chemical company, ICI, where
he worked for 18 years. During which time he was seconded from the
UK on two occasions to ICI companies in the Middle East and Turkey,
working in operations, technical and sales roles.
Joining the fire industry and Apollo in mid 2000 as Export Sales
Manager, Kim now has over 24 years experience and an in-depth
knowledge of operating in an international environment. In 2006 Kim
was awarded the degree of Postgraduate Certificate in Management
from Southampton University, School of Management.
At Apollo, Kim is currently responsible for the territories in
the Arabian Gulf, India and Australasia.

After graduating from college studying Architecture, Civil
Engineering and Advanced Mathmatics he started his sales career
with an Industrial Chemical Firm based in Widnes prior to his start
in the industry.
Matt has been in the fire sector for a decade and has held a
number of jobs within the industry. Initially dealing with
Extinguishers and Fire Alarm maintenance he worked his way up to
become the UK Key Accounts Manager dealing with some of the
companies most prestigious accounts.
Prior to joining us Matt was employed as a Systems Consultant.
Here he dealt with the sale of both new Fire Alarm Systems and Gas
Suppression Systems across the South East of England.
Matt joined Apollo Fire Detectors in 2011, as a Regional Sales
Manager where he takes responsibility for Sales within the South
East Regions of the UK.
Paul Pope

Paul has been in the fire and security industry since 1985 and
has held senior management positions in some of the UK's leading
companies.
In 1994 he joined Chubb Electronic Security and progressed to
the position of UK Fire Product Manager with overall responsibility
for the company's fire detection and suppression systems and
products.
Paul graduated as an engineer within the Institute of Fire
Engineers (IFE) of which he is a member.
For many years Paul has been active in the Fire Industry
Association (FIA) working group (WG6) for the design, installation
and commissioning of fire detection and alarm systems. He also is a
member of the Building Fire Safety Systems Section of the NFPA in
the USA.
He joined Apollo Fire Detectors in 2000, as Technical Sales
Manager where he was responsible for the management of technical
support and warranty operation of the company. In 2007 he
progressed to the position of UK Sales Manager and now takes
responsibility for UK Sales for Apollo.
Simon Flavell

Simon has worked for Apollo for 18 years and has
had various roles within the company including Service
manager, Technical Sales Engineer and Technical Sales Supervisor
where he was responsible for the management of Technical Support,
panel partners & warranty within the company. During this time
Simon has gained a vast knowledge of systems and the fire
industry.
For the last 18 months, he represents Apollo on the FD
& A council of the (FIA).
Simon's current role is Business Development Manager and is
responsible for the Marine and Offshore market and
is developing this area globally for Apollo.
